MYSTERIOUS AILMENTS: FG Dispatch Delegation To Kano State

Kano State has recorded a worrying number of death in the past week which have been linked to mysterious ailments different from COVID-19. The federal government responding to the recent development has deployed a delegation to Kano to find out cause of mysterious deaths in the state.

The Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora, revealed this at the ongoing presidential taskforce briefing on Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Recall that Anaedoonline.com reported that over 100 people have been reported d**d in the state. Coronavirus: FG Probes If 150 Deaths In Kano Are Linked To Pandemic The cause of death has remained a mystery after the state denied it was not due to coronavirus.

“A federal government delegation is being deployed to Kano, based on the state’s recent ‘disturbing deaths,” Mamora said.

He said the delegation is being sent to work with the state to improve COVID-19 response as well as ask questions on the causes of these deaths reported.

The minister of state for health also said, “We are in the process of setting up an emergency ambulance system to address emergency situations.”

“We are engaging traditional, civic and religious leaders to increase risk-communication to communities; Minister of State for Health concluded.”
