In a video trending on social media, South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa was spotted battling to wear his facemask on live TV after delivering a speech on the importance of wearing them.
#MaskChallenge is trending amongst South Africans as they take to Twitter to mock their president, Cyril Ramaphosa after he was filmed struggling to put on a face mask.
The President is seen putting the mask across his eyes, hooking the elastic behind his ears, before trying to pull it down to his nose and mouth. However, he didn’t get it right the first time and had to make several attempts.
South Africans later took to Twitter to mock their president as they made comments about the way he put on the mask. Some asked why he wore it on his eyes at first. But others defended him by sharing a video showing a health worker wearing it the same way.
