Nana Akufo-Addo, The President of Ghana has lighted the partial lockdown that was placed on some areas in the country.
This decision according to him is due to the newly developed measures that put government in the right position to better understand and manage the virus.
He however stated that, lifting the lockdown does not mean that, we will disregard safety measure. Social gatherings remain restricted to an extent, public transports are equally expected to run with considerable number of passengers.
He also advised that we practice basic measures like wearing of masks, washing of hands among others. He also added that, funerals can be conducted but with a maximum of 25 people.
