Juventus forward, CRISTIANO Ronaldo has been caught up in a coronavirus scare after three players tested positive for the deadly disease in the team.
Recall that we reported earlier that three players in serie C of the team tested positive for the disease and this has compelled the team to halt all its training.
It came after after members of the Juventus Under 23 squad played an infected opposing team called Pianese.
Club sources at Juventus stressed none of their players had tested positive for illness but all “proper safety precautions and protocols were being followed”.
Pianese team have been left in isolation after some Juventus players tested positive after playing with them.
“The situation is being taken very seriously and the medical staff have told all the players to keep washing their hands and using hand gels.
“No one has tested positive but bearing in mind the Inter game has been postponed because of health concerns nothing is being taken for granted.
“Some of the players involved in the Under 23 match did train midweek with Ronaldo and the first team but that will now not happen again for a few weeks,” a source at the Turin club stated.
