Inter Milan playmaker, Christian Eriksen, has compared the Serie A competition with the Premier League.
Eriksen says in Serie A, the players feel the fans pushing them forward, while in the Premier League, the fans are not allowed to do so.
The Demark international, who left Tottenham Hotspur to join Antonio Conte’s side last month, was blown away with the atmosphere from the fans as Inter Milan defeated AC Milan 3-2 at San Siro over the weekend.
“The way we played the first half against AC Milan was miserable, but coming from a 2-0 down to win 3-2 was so special,” Eriksen told Danish broadcaster TV2.
“Our fans had prepared this enormous dance routine that took up the entire end of the stadium.
“You don’t get that atmosphere in the English Premier League, partially because the fans are not permitted to do so.
“In Serie A you feel the fans pushing you forward right from the minute you arrive on the team’s bus.
“You see them clapping their hands on the side of the bus and you feel their passion and understand how important this match is.”
