The first case of Lassa fever has been confirmed in Ogun State, INDEPENDENT can confirm.
The case was discovered at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Although the details are still not clear as at the time of filling in this report, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Medial Centre, Segun Orisajor, confirmed the discovery to INDEPENDENT.
