Early this morning, the Kwara state government demolished Senator Bukola Saraki family propert, “Ile Arugbo,” his sister Bukola Saraka has now reacted to it.
The AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led Kwara government today demolished Bukola Saraki’s family property “Ile Arugbo” (old people’s home) built on land which ownership was recently revoked by the state.
The Kwara state government has earlier stated that it will build a secretariat on the site after it recovered it.
According to report, there were about 50 policemen on stand-by during the demolition process.
In her reaction, Gbemisola Saraki, through her Special Assistant, Titilope Anifowoshe, issued a statement whicj read in part:
“so many things have happened this year,in fact right up to the very dying hours of the year,but we will continue to take brave and faithful steps.
“We have a history and we are proud of that history, may Allah forgive the sins of all our dearly departed and may He make us worthy representatives of all that they stood for,” she added.
