Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Kano state governor has directed the Ministry of Justice to amend the panel code to the death penalty for kidnappers in the state.
Ganduje dropped the hint on Thursday during the inauguration of a 16- man commission of inquiry headed on Kano 9 children kidnapped and sold in Onitsha, Anambra state.
According to him, the commission was given 30 days to complete and submit its report to the Governor.
He described kidnapping is criminal, anti-christian,anti-Islam and heinous.
