Femi Fani-Kayode the former Minister of Aviation has reacted to the rumour that the North will support an igbo presidency in 2023.
FFK said this while reacting to the comment of Elder statesman and frontline politician, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu when he said:
“I have made consultations to different Nigerians in the North. I have made consultations in the South-West and 80 per cent of them are in support of a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction and of South-East region.”
However, Fani-Kayode has warned the igbo not to expect any support from from the North should they want there dream comes true.
In a tweet, the former Minister said the entire south needs “Emancipation” and not `presidency
He tweeted:
“If you believe that the north will support an Igbo Presidency in 2023 then you still dont understand the injustice that Nigeria represents.The north will NEVER support an Igbo presidency and that is the tragedy of Nigeria. The entire south needs EMANCIPATION and not Presidency.”
