BREAKING: Senator Dino Melaye Rejects Kogi PDP Campaign DG

The senator representing Kogi west in the red chamber, Dino Melaye, has just rejected his appointment as the Director General of his party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead Kogi governorship election.

Melaye contested the last PDP governorship primary and came fourth.

But responding to his appointment through a Facebook post on Friday, the vocal senator rejected the appointment.

He said: “Let me state categorically that I have turned down the position of Director-General of the PDP Kogi State Governorship Campaign Council. I wish PDP all the best. When truth is a casualty there is chaos. Senator Dino Melaye.”
