Beyond the prejudice of local politics of CAN is the need for delegates to relate with the state of the nation and its impact upon existential issues of our faith and freedom of is practice. Premodia sentiment must be view from the prism of greater issues of regional occupation of ISIS in West African. We must elect a leadership that can rise to confront the danger that ISIS potend for the region and the whole of Africa.
One, Ijaola Adelokoji, a very close associate of the incumbent President of CAN in his response to my personal rejection of the re-election of Rev. Dr. Supo Ayokunle said,
“CAN is in the process of sanitizing, but those who have benefited or still intend to benefit from its corruption are fighting to pull the present leadership down”.
How more “buharistic” can CAN get? The fraternity of Ayokunle led leadership with Buhari has shown that it has no program to offer the church beyond the rhetoric of her pay master, they intend to go next level with the nation’s administration to fight corruption.
Corruption is of course inimical to human existence, but life is of essence to the fight against corruption, a situation where life and security can’t be guaranteed should be of priority to all delegates and a new CAN leadership.
The inept team at CAN like their mentors have shown lack of understanding of our contending issues and same for capacity to handle them.
Does CAN has a website?
We can keep an analogue administration in a digital generation.
What are the training programme State Chairmen were exposed to, locally and internationally under the present leadership?
State Chairmen are carrier of the burdens of all Christians in their states and not representative of their block and their vote must reflect this.
You must elect a 21st century leadership, that can tell at the snap of finger the number of churches in Nigeria, the number that has be extinct along with their host communities in the North East, North Central, and North West?
You must elect for us a leadership that can evaluate the threat to faith in South East where giant mosques are daily springing up, and Islam is spreading at an alarming rate that seems not to bother those who only go there to knock on the doors to visit their Governors.
You must elect a leadership that will place premium on capacity building conferences towards the advancement of faith. Go ye, is the essence of our existence as Christian; any organisational leadership that can’t relate with this has lost is essence, and must be disposed.
What is the plan of CAN to forestall attack of host Christian communities along with our churches?
I have gone across this country at my own cost, speaking on Islamization Agenda, in obvious threat to my life, while those we elected to defend and promote our faith simply does so at interval, either calling a press conference or issuing a press statement. For how long shall this docility continue?
Poignant as our national issues are, our challenges is beyond the geographical entity called Nigeria. The creation of ISIS West African is enough a reason to raise our thinking, a government that is in compromise with Boko Haram terrorist can’t protect Christians against their onslaught.
We need an inspired leadership, one who can think out of the box, to birth a department of International Christian Alliance Against Terrorism (ICAAT), that can coordinate regional defence of faith is what is needed now.
Islamization Agenda is the reality of today, with focus on Africa and Nigeria as base, we must elect leadership that will take this awareness to the sub-region.
Dr. Supo Ayokunle, for me has failed to show capacity on how this hydra headed monsters can be tame, life is scared and precious we don’t need a leadership under whose watch more souls will be lost.
We are in contention with a global network, a system built to wipe out our faith, little or no understanding of this has been exhibited by CAN present leadership.
Our Mission Must Be Africa.
President Mohammadu Buhari once said in response to the herdsmen onslaught that the killer herdsmen are not necessarily indigenous to Nigeria, but armed militia trained by Gaddafi. If the President know this much and yet treated the issue locally by pleading in Benue with the host community to recieve and live with them as nieghbour, CAN was outrightly lost in that discuss.
Nigeria once recalled her Ambassador to Libya, Isa Mohammed, over Gaddafi’s call for the partitioning of Nigeria into two countries one for Christians and the other for Muslims.
Let me take some quote from Muammar Gaddafi.
“Christianity is not a faith for people in Africa, Asia, Europe and America, other people who are not sons of Israel have nothing to do with that religion”
“It is a mistake that another religion exist along side Islam. There is only one religion which is Islam, after Mohammed, all those believers who do not follow Islam are loosers and we are here to correct that MISTAKE”
(Emphasis mine).
The allusion of President Mohammadu Buhari to Libya militia and his body language suggest to me that he believe the philosophy his brother in Islam lived and die for.
The years before 2023 are critical in the correction of this “MISTAKE” that you, and all who share the faith of God in Christ are.
Your vote today must not confirm that we are a mistake to be easily corrected.
Vote, in protection of faith and advancement of the kingdom.
Yours in the interests of the kingdom for a greater Christian Association of Nigeria, and a better nation.
