According to reports, Hon. Omunakwe was the APC chieftain shot dead was shot in his community, Mgboshimini. He was a former candidate for the house of assembly for Obio/Akpor Local Council Area.

APC chieftain shot dead in Rivers state (graphic photos)

Sometime last month, we reported that another APC chieftain and wife were burnt to death in fire outbreak in in Kebbi state, Farouk Umar, and his wife, Nasara. The fire outbreak occured in the home of the APC Chieftain on Sunday, March 31st, in Birnin Kebbi. Details as to the cause of the fire incident are yet to be gathered as at time of filing this report. Umar’s wife was the executive secretary primary school pension Board before the tragedy struck.

Remember Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi stating that he and leaders of other political parties need to beg for forgiveness form the people of Rivers State over the pains they’ve brazenly suffered. Amaechi, a former governor of the state, pointed out that the state is now always in the news and almost always for the wrong reasons.
