In Lagos Nigeria, an unemployed man has been jailed for touching a lady’s boobs and stabbing her relatives who came to her rescue.
According to reports, Ilias Mudashiru, has been jailed for 6 months for indecently assaulting one Judith Nwachima by touching lady’s boobs and also stabbing her relatives. The incident happened on April 21 around 8.20 am while Judith was on her way to the clinic. It happened around Bombata Market, Oroyinyin Street, in the Adeniji Adele area of Lagos Island, Lagos State.
Ilias Mudashiru pleaded guilty to three counts of conspiracy, indecent assault and
assault occasioning harm. These offences contravene sections 173, 263 (1) and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
Magistrate, F. O. Sasanya passed the judgement after listening to facts of the case from the prosecutor, Sergeant Godspower Ehizoba, said;
“The defendant is hereby sentenced to three months in prison on count one (conspiracy), three months on count two (indecent assault) and six months in prison on count three (assault occasioning harm).
Meanwhile, a lady recounted her story of how she almost got killed in an elevator in Lagos. The lady who said she is asthmatic was trapped in the elevator at one of the public spots in the city and she couldn’t reach out for help as the network in the space went blank immediately.
