A Boeing 737 with 136 on board after landing, slides into St. John’s River near Jacksonville, Florida in the US.
The Boeing 737 is a charter plane that was traveling from Cuba to north Florida ended up in a river at the end of a runway late Friday night, a spokeesman revealed.
According to Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, the plane went into the St. Johns River in Jacksonville Friday.
“I’ve been briefed that all lives have been accounted for,” the mayor tweeted.
The Naval Air Station Jacksonville, the plane crashed into the river at the end of the runway.
“Navy security and emergency response personnel are on the scene and monitoring the situation,” the station said.
