Tiger Woods is set to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Monday from President Trump, following his fifth Masters win, April.
The American Golf champion will be honoured by the president of the United states, Donald Trump at the White House. Trump a few weeks ago watched in awe as Woods won his 15th major championship at Augusta National.
The announcement was made by Trump via his twitter account where he wrote;
“Spoke to @TigerWoods to congratulate him on the great victory he had in yesterday’s @TheMasters, & to inform him that because of his incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE, I will be presenting him with the PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM!”
