The photo-finish governorship race in Sokoto State, where incumbent Aminu Tambuwal of the Peoples Democratic Party only managed to beat Ahmed Aliyu,the APC challenger with 342 votes has had a mirror-image in the strength of the parties in the state assembly.
As the details of who is who in the Assembly emerges, the APC and PDP split the composition right down the middle, with each party boasting five members each.
This picture will no doubt throw up the question as to which party will produce the speaker and other principal officers of the assembly.
