An unconfirmed report says the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) has arrested thugs in Akwa Ibom, who allegedly came to work for former Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio and the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Nsima Ekere ahead of Saturday’s election.
This was revealed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) via their social media with alleged video evidence that shows the thugs lying down after being stripped-off their tops by the men filming them.
According to the unverified video, the person talking behind it alleged that the thugs were sent by APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole to caused trouble in Uyo, the state capital, adding that four buses had already arrived the state before the twelve were stopped and those in it were apprehended.

“2. Intelligence reports indicated that 50 buses were sent but the first batch of 12 were arrested at the border between Akwa Ibom and Abia state at about 6.05pm today,” the tweets from the opposition party handle read.
