Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has lost in all four local governments that make up Kwara Central Senatorial District.
Mr Saraki polled 13, 013 votes in Ilorin South local government while his closest rival, Ibrahim Oloriegbe, polled 26,331 votes.
The number of accredited voters was put at 41, 921 while valid votes were 40,112.
Saraki also lost in his own local government, Ilorin West.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced on Sunday evening that in Ilorin West, APC polled 51, 531 votes while the PDP polled 30,075.
The number of registered voters were 224, 494 while accredited voters were 91,130.
The winner of the Senate seat will be officially announced by the electoral body.
