Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of plotting to manipulate the February 23, 2019 presidential and National Assembly elections.
PDP National chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, stated this at the ongoing 84th Emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the party’s headquarters, located at Waddata Plaza Wuse 5, Abuja.
He said: “APC in conjunction with INEC have concluded plans to manipulate the elections.
Secondus stated that the APC and INEC plan to do this by compromising the INEC website and the entire ICT unit.
He however warned: ” It will not work, because Nigerians are determined to throw away the APC government.
In attendence are; PDP Presidential Candidate and former vice president Atiku Abubakar, Senate President Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, Speaker House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara, former Senate President David Mark, former minister of Special Duties Kabir Tanimu Turaki, Gombe state Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo, Governor of Benue state Samuel Orton, Governor of Kwara state Abdulfatah Ahmed and former Governor of Ekiti state Ayo Fayose, among others.
