Former Chelsea player, Chris Sutton has stated that Maurizio Sarri will be sacked before the end of this week. He made this known after Sarri’s men suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester United in an FA Cup 5th round on Monday.
Goals from Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera sealed the game for the visitors at Stamford Bridge.
Reacting to the loss, Sutton stated that Sarri would be sack this week.
“This is Maurizio Sarri’s last game at Chelsea. He won’t survive. He’s done.
“He’ll get the sack for numerous reasons – things he’s said, that he can’t motivate the players, his inability to be able to adapt and change,” Sutton told BBC Radio 5 live.
Meanwhile, Sarri has expressed worries over his team’s exit from the FA Cup
“I am worried about the result, not about the fans,” he said.
“Of course I can understand the situation. I understand our fans, because the result wasn’t really good.
“We are out of the FA Cup, so I can understand very well our fans. But I am worried at the moment about our results”
