The list forwarded by the Police commission shows a state-arranged and detailed categorization of the total number of applicants for the recruitment exercise. The Commission confirmed that it accepted 315,032 applications from aspirants of the recruitment as Police Constables into the Force before the deadline of the recruitment application on Friday, January 11, 2019. Physical and Credential Screenings

These applicants must possess O’ level certificates or its alternative with a minimum of five credits including the English language and Mathematics in a maximum of two sittings. They are expected to be of impeccable character with no record of involvement in criminal activities.

The State boasts of 18,549 applications, trailed by Kaduna State who boast of 17,936 applicants, then Kano State with 17,483 applications and Katsina State totaling 17,354 applicants.
