Babatunde Gbadamosi, the Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party stole the show at Lagos governorship debate, which had the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the PDP candidate, Jimi Agbaje, and the candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Owolabi Salis as his opponents.
Mr Gbadamosi, who was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before defecting to the ADP, received rave reviews of his performance in the debate, which was organised by The Platform, a civic discussion initiative of the Covenant Christian Centre.

Just tuning in and catching a candidate I’d previously never heard about – Mr Gbadamosi. He has my attention fully. Let me adjust my Orijin and see if he sustains things.
Gbadamosi wins the debate. No argument. However, I am sad & despondent. He is operating in a clime where his “big grammar” and “intellectualism” will be dismissed, ridiculed, & turned to a liability by people who, contemptuous of excellence, have wedded their fate to mediocrity.

In order of performance Gbadamosi had all the answers. Has a good plan. Floored all. Agbaje gave us the same as he always has. Jk Jk Sanwaolu refers to himself in 3rd person cos he’s not/will not be in charge Salis is a native doctor. When he meets Christ, he’ll become Silas.
Mr Gbadamosi has all the answers and well thought out plans but I didn’t even know of him till today. Worth my vote sha.

Let’s keep it a buck: Gbadamosi is currently leading here and it’s shameful that Jimi Agbaje, who should have a working blueprint after contesting 3 times is selling us these mundane narratives. O ja mi lara je.

Gbadamosi destroyed everyone at the debate tonight. But sadly, this is Nigeria where a lack of “ structure “ will mean that the dude will come a distant third or fourth. When will we get it right?

Babatunde Gbadamosi is like the Kingsley Moghalu of the Presidential elections. Man knows his onions but sadly the most competent doesn’t win in Nigeria

When someone like Gbadamosi contests and doesn’t win, it tells us we are our own problem in this part of the world…..
