Gareth Bale’s stunning hat-trick saw Real Madrid make the final of the 2018 Club World Cup with a 3-1 semi final win over Kashima Antlers.
Real Madrid will meet Al Ain in the Club World Cup final on 22 December, after thrashing Asian qualifiers Kashima Antlers 3-1 at the Zayed Sport City Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
Madrid qualified with a hat trick by Gareth Bale, who scored the first goal just before the break. On resumption, Bale banged in two more goals with three minutes.
And as if Madrid were saying the job was already accomplished, the Welsh star was substituted in the 60th minute, with Marco Asensio.
Kashima had a consolatory goal in the 78th minute. And the goal had to be VAR-checked by the referee before it was accepted for play to continue.
