Big Brother Naija star, Alex Asogwa, was on Thursday auctioned in Abuja, for N300,000 at a dinner to raise funds for treatment of breast cancer patients.
Alex Unusual, as the reality TV star is known, was acquired by a family from Niger State after a “tough” bargaining process at the event hosted by the 22-year-old reality.

Speaking about the Project Pink Blue project, Alex said “I know what it feels to lose someone close to you as a result of this ailment.
“I lost two people to cancer not because there was no funds for treatment but because they did not find out on time.
“Cancer is real and it kills irrespective of your age, class or social status.”
She thanked all those involved in the project in an Instagram post on Friday.

She also called on Nigerians to check themselves regularly so as to commence treatment on time when they are diagnosed with it.
Other celebrities at the event include Rachael Okonkwo, Kemen, Bryan Okwara, Denrele Edun and Charles Okpaleke.
Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State and his wife, Dr Amina Bagudu, were also in attendance.
So were Ondo governor’s wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu; Niger governor’s wife, Dr Amina Bello, and Kaduna governor’s wife, Asia el-Rufai.
