The Founder and General overseer of God’s Grace Chapel International, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Prophet Elijah Adoke, on Sunday predicted that former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and the Peoples Democratic Party will defeat President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress in the 2019 presidential election.
The prophet disclosed this at a press conference organized immediately after the Church Service on Sunday at the headquarters of the church located, 7, Abagana Street, Abakaliki.
Adoke prophesied that Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State would conquer opposition in the State to clinch his second term in office.
Adoke however, predicted that President Buhari would refuse to accept the outcome of the presidential election but would rather resort to military action capable of unleashing mayhem on the country.
He called on all Christians to intensify prayers against destabilizing forces hanging over the country, adding that the military invasion would be targeted mainly at disenfranchising members of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The Man of God, who reeled out many prophesies of his, which had been fulfilled since 2012 when God called him into the Ministry, noted that most of the times he only spoke to his parishioners concerning his visions and predictions, adding that he could no longer restrict himself based on the cogency of his present message.
According to him, he first predicted the advent of the dreaded Ebola disease in 2013 before its ravaging effect ensued, adding that the failure of former President Goodluck Jonathan was predicted by him, in which he warned that Jonathan would fail the 2015 elections because of the people around him.
Prophet Adoke also stated that on September 9, 2012, when he started his journey with God, he received a vision from God concerning the hunger that would ravage the country, which also prescribed that massive participation of all citizens in agriculture would ameliorate it.
He further said that in July 2014, God also showed him former Governor Martin Elechi’s success in the gubernatorial poll, but warned that anyone who would be anointed by him afterward would fail.
He emphasized that Ebonyi State at present was facing troubles in the spirit realm but noted that they were being settled by the prayers of believers to guarantee the ultimate success of Governor Umahi in 2019.
Adoke explained: “My name is Prophet Elijah Adoke, the founder of God’s Grace International Chapel.
“I am a prophet of God.
“In the past, we have released so many prophesies that came to pass but we are hidden
“So many pastors, when they come and see the messages they would begin to cry that our voice should not be hidden.
“In 2012, when I started this journey…, God showed me a vision concerning the whole of Nigeria.
“On 9th September 2012 God showed me that Nigeria was going to suffer; there were going to be hunger in Nigeria in future and the only way we can handle that was through agriculture as the oil was going to disappoint…
“A prophet does not suggest but utters the deep thing of God.
“In 2016, all of you were here when I prophesied that APC was going to win but after their winning, something would confront them and they will come to their knees.
“I gave a time that between August, September, October and November, there would be much trouble for APC….
“2019 General Election: PDP will take the presidency but there is an impending trouble: they will not accept the result.
“I am seeing soldiers shooting….
“And if God can touch our leaders’ hearts to know that God gives power, they should understand that it is not time to struggle anything.
“As the election gets closer, a little thing can cause the election not to hold but something could happen in the stronghold of PDP.
“They shall be disenfranchised, people will be denied voting.
“But your prayer as a Christian is that there should be peace and that who God appoints should be allowed to remain.
“Coming home, there has been very serious trouble for Ebonyi State in the spirit realm, but thank God for his mercy.
“Something could have happened that could have been a surprise and everybody would have marveled.
“But as I am talking to you now, in the spirit realm, our Governor, His Excellency David Umahi is going to take his second tenure.
“In our Senatorial districts, there will be confusion.
“In Ohaukwu, go and pray very well, otherwise, another thing will happen and I will not say more than that.
“Come to the House of Representatives: in Ikwo, if care is not taken, something will happen.”
Meanwhile, many of the parishioners who spoke to newsmen after the briefing confirmed that God had used Prophet Adoke to liberate many troubled persons within and outside the Church, adding that most of his prophecies had always come true.
