“News of the accident was disclosed via a tweet on the handle of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), which read: “The accidented trailer after Berger in Kara heavy backlog now at Tollgate.”
An oil tanker was involved in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan on Wednesday morning.
The tanker fell around Berger area, coming inwards from the Kara area of the expressway.
Although the vehicle has been evacuated, the oil spill is currently being flushed away to prevent another accident.
