Six members of the Ondo State Executive Council have resigned their appointments, to seek elective positions in next year’s elections.
They complied with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s directive, that all political appointees who will be contesting, resign.

The Genius Media reported on the 14th of September, 2018 that Akeredolu ordered his cabinet members to resign their appointment with the State Government if they are interested in contesting for elective offices in forthcoming 2019 General Elections.
