Its a sad day for one of Nigeria’s popular financial institutions, United Bank for Africa, UBA, as its Victoria Island office, located at Engineering street, has been overwhelmed by fire.
As of the time of dishing out this report, power surge was speculated by workers of the bank as the cause of the fire
but there has been no official information from the bank or any of its staff as to the cause of the unfortunate incident could not be confirmed.
Efforts in trying to reach the Director of LASEMA all proved abortive as calls to his mobile phone were not getting through.
