ABUJA: The National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was conspicuously absent at the resumed National Caucus of the ruling party held on Monday night at the presidential villa, Abuja.
There was no sign of the Jagaban as at the time the meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari went into a closed session.
A prelude to today’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of APC, last night’s caucus focussed mainly the party’s constitutional amendment and the report of the committee set up by the party on true federalism.
Among those in attendance were Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha; state governors, members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC), and other party chieftains.
