Jose Mourinho and Manchester united are ready to sell Paul Pogba in order to fund a £200million summer spending spree, according to reports.
The special one has made it clear he wants the Red Devils to bringing in more big names if they are to compete with champions-elect Manchester City next season.
Pogba, who United broke the world transfer record to sign for £89m in 2016, has been in-and-out of the team in recent weeks.
And The Mirror report the Frenchman could be sold so Mourinho could strengthen across the pitch.
The pair have “barely spoken for weeks” — and Pogba, 25, started both legs of the Champions League last-16 clash with Sevilla on the bench. Real Madrid would be among the favourites to move for the Frenchman.
Meanwhile, Bernabeu midfield maestro Toni Kroos has been on United’s radar since his Bayern Munich days. With Los Blancos set for a summer overhaul, the Red Devils are considering a move in the summer.
Meanwhile, team-mate Raphael Varane and Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Marquinhos are possible defensive options. United are also looking at Juventus left-back Alex Sandro as Mourinho aims to replace unwanted Luke Shaw in the summer.
