#BBNAIJA: Last week recorded the most controversial eviction nominees in the Big Brother Naija (BBN) house, when Tobi used his veto power as Head of House to put up his romantically-linked, albeit ‘troublesome’ partner Cee-C and her pair Lolu for possible eviction in place of the originally-nominated pair Rico and Bambam (BAMCO).
This was just as Alex refused to save Leo, saying, “He needs a haircut” (as those up for eviction are usually made to look good).
It was these shocking revelations that made this week’s eviction the most anticipated, and alas! Cee-C was saved, along Lolu, while Angel and Ahneeka (GELAH) got the boot.
Leo and Ifu Anneda (LIFU) retained their place back in the house. Thus, this week is pregnant of how the game between the perceived betrayed (Alex and Cee-C) by their partners will play out.
The three pairs that got fans voting all week include Cee-C and Lolu (CEELO), Leo and Ifu Anneda (LIFU) and Angel and Ahneeka (GELAH).
Shortly before announcing the results, Ebuka prodded Cee-C who seemed to have put Tobi’s action behind her.
Asked why she finds herself coming back to Tobi despite series of “I’m done with him” remark, she said: “I like Tobi a lot, as a person, yeah. I think he is very interesting. I believe in his potential and everything.”
Dr Sid opened the show singing his hit ‘Surulere’, a song that featured Don Jazzy to the excitement of the studio guests.
Dressed by D29 Concept, show host Ebuka Uchendu Obi revealed that next week eviction will end the pairing technique.
Las week, The Nation predicted three reasons why Cee-C may not be evicted this week, saying: “…one of her staying power may come from votes from fans of Lolu, her partner who stands to be evicted with her. The other probability is that having been put up by Tobi, her tears that night, especially as she tried to explain her good intentions might have melted some hearts that will most likely join her fans, friends and family members to vote aggressively to keep her in the house. Also, if one considers the drama that has ensued from her relapsing relationship with Tobi, fans of the show would want the entertainment to continue, whether or not they like her personality.”
